About Karina

Karina is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with extensive experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families across both public and private mental health settings. She is a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Karina’s clinical focus centres on trauma recovery, emotion dysregulation, and relational challenges. She has completed specialised training in a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These modalities are thoughtfully integrated to address the unique therapeutic goals of each client.

Her approach is holistic and trauma-informed, aiming to empower individuals to build resilience, cultivate healthy relationships, and establish sustainable coping strategies that promote long-term mental well-being.

Alongside her private practice, Karina maintains an active role in the public mental health sector, enriching her practice through continued collaboration and a strong commitment to comprehensive, community-based care.
